David Lam Heats up in Florida

    Late-Model ProCup Teams headed due south directly from Stafford Motor Speedway to Lakeland Florida.'s U S A International Speedway. As teams relaxed on the southern sands of Florida, Crew chiefs seemed to be elsewhere. Crew chief of the #3 Car Fast Eddie Franklin said " Its all fun in the sun , but when it comes down to it, we got to find something to compete against the #1 car of David Lam"Chop"

       The combination of heavy rains last night and a hot early sun made for a real slick track early on. Ricky Howell JR found out just how slick on just lap 6. Ricky Starting in just his first race,fighting a loose condition hooks it toward the inside wall but saves it. Johnny Reed Foley was a turn 4 victim as well. Even the eventual winner David Lam found the wall. David said after the race" I'm glad that's over. Not being my favorite track I'm just glad it's over."

         Adam Crapser in just his first start Gets loose too.  Driving to a third place finish Adam is one of those young drivers to keep an eye on. At just 14 he is the youngest driver to compete in the Late-Model ProCup Division. Adam comes from a racing family, his brother Alex likes to race on dirt or pavement  but missed tonight. Alex a Globally recruited Basketball Player said " I love to compete.  Even if it's not racing I want to win that's the  bottom line.

         Traveling just hours from his house Johnny Reed Foley Felt good about this weekend. Born in North Carolina,  Johhny Reed Foley moved to Daytona Florida. Chasing Two careers. Finding  himself  spinning his wheels,. Johnny said "The car felt great in practice but the rain washed that away"

         Johnny Reed Foley spins bringing out the caution . Johhny was stuck on the wall coming out of turn 4. He just lost control trying to force it away from the wall. David Butterworth lucks out passing Reed as he slides to the infield.  Teams throw on 4 tires and pack the cars full of fuel.
